LADOGA has started shipment BARRISTER gins to India. The first batch of 11,000 bottles was sent in September and arrived in the port of Mundra a few days ago.

LADOGA's partner, importer Alcostar Group, will sell the gins in 5 northern states of India. The first shipment includes 6 sku - Dry, Old Tom, Pink, Blue, Orange and Sloe. Nowadays, expansion of the range including Barrister Mumbai, the most Indian gin of all the Russian gins, is being discussed.

At the ProWine Mumbai exhibition, LADOGA presented the line of BARRISTER gins to regional distributors. As a result of negotiations LADOGA plans to expand the supply of BARRISTER gins across India in 2023-2024.

The holiday was founded in honour of gin lover Mary Edith Cayburn, who passed away on October 19 in 2010 at the age of 95 with her favourite cocktail in hand.

According to the woman's friends, Edith was "a wonderful woman who loved to drink a gin and tonic from time to time". Shortly before her death, members of Mary Edith Cayburn's family secretly brought this cocktail to the hospital in a bottle of water.

In 2012, an International Gin and Tonic Day Facebook page was launched, and the tradition of honouring gin and tonic spread from the US East Coast to the rest of the world.
